OUR MISSION
We believe that every individual deserves the opportunity to feel beautiful, confident, and valued, regardless of their circumstances. By offering accessible hair care services, training programs, and community involvement, we aim to build self-esteem, foster independence, and create a supportive environment where healing and growth are nurtured.
Founded by Francesca Paul, a resilient and courageous woman, Braiding Beyond Borders was born out of her desire to give back to the community and uplift others who have faced similar hardships. Through her journey of resilience and self-recovery, Francesca discovered the power of self-care and hair care in restoring a sense of self-worth and dignity. With a deep understanding of the challenges faced by marginalized individuals, she created this foundation to provide a safe space where women and children can not only receive hair care but also gain the skills to care for themselves and others.
We are committed to expanding our reach beyond borders—serving both locally and globally. Our foundation offers hands-on training in hair care for disabled individuals, provides free or subsidized hair services to domestic violence survivors and those in financial need, and builds community connections through workshops and support groups. Our global initiatives include outreach efforts to underserved communities, ensuring that everyone, no matter their location or background, can benefit from our programs.
